U4GM ARC Raiders Hidden Bunker how it works in 2026

Thing is, Hidden Bunker on Spaceport is way less of a loot rush than people keep saying. It's a camping simulator if your lobby has even two decent squads. I ran it a few times during the current rotation and, after burning through meds, I ended up finding some backup stuff on ARC Raiders Items because trying to brute force bunker fights undergeared felt like trolling. The event sounds sick on paper, but in actual matches it pretty much drags the whole server into one ugly choke fight near Departure Building.

Why I think people are playing it wrong

Most players sprint antenna to antenna like it's a PvE checklist. I don't think that's the move unless your squad is cracked. There are four antennas, each needs two interactions, and every activation spits out ARC pressure right on top of you. In my runs it was usually Wasps first, then Hornets making rooftop angles miserable. And because progress is shared lobby-wide, you're doing work for the guys waiting southwest with scopes and patience. That's the part people gloss over. You can spend half the raid helping unlock the bunker, then get deleted by a team that never touched an objective once.

What actually gets me killed

Ngl, it isn't even the interior most of the time. It's the entrances. Once all four antennas are done, everyone collapses on that bunker by Departure Building and the doorway turns into a Bastion, Bombardier, and third-party blender. I tested both approaches: helping early and rotating late, or posting near the area before it opens. Second one felt way stronger. Kinda lame, sure, but that's the meta people created. Inside, the terminals are another trap. I counted up to eight in one run, and if you step off the download for even a second, you're restarting. So now you're standing still in CQB while another squad hears the interaction audio. Great design for chaos, terrible design if you actually want consistent reward.

Here's the part I'm still not sold on

I'm not 100% sure if the event is balanced around solos at all. Could be wrong on the exact scaling, but enemy density felt the same whether I went in duo or saw a full three-man crashing it. If there is squad-size tuning, I couldn't feel it. And I still haven't figured out if there's any special extract routing tied to the bunker or if you're just supposed to hoof it back to normal extracts with half the map chasing you. Saw a lot of people saying the risk/reward is goated because data payouts and trial progress stack up fast, but afaik that's only true in quieter lobbies. In busy ones, it's straight copium.

My take after a bunch of runs

So yeah, imo Hidden Bunker isn't bad content, it's just overhyped unless you're the team doing the ambushing. The map flow is cool for about five minutes, then it turns into everyone funneled underground for coin-flip fights and interrupted downloads. I've still been queueing it because the event's fun in a messy way, and I even grabbed an ARC Raiders Key after one rough night since I wanted another shot at cleaner bunker routes, but I still think the community is split for a reason. Curious what everyone else thinks.
