It prevented players from changing difficulty

It prevented players from D2R Items changing difficulty when an Echoing Nightmare is active.Fixed a bug that Boon of the Hoarder would allow gold to drop during Echoing Nightmares.Fixed an issue where the Orek's Dream vignette can be removed when entering Shrouded Moors and Festering Woods in the event of entering something other than level 1.
Fixed a bug that caused the Orek's Dream opening VFX to display inconsistently.Shely claimed that the ability to pull power from legendary items (previously announced in a Diablo IV quarterly update) and put them in other items "really allows you to modify your gear." Fergusson was in agreement with that.
"That has completely changed the game," Fergusson said. "This is true. We don't get into that enough. In past games, you would grab a shield that had the ability to say"Call two additional skeleton mages.'
You're thinking, 'Oh I've got to keep this...My build needs those two more magickal mages.' In the end, your level will exceed it, and I don't want to let go of the shield. I'm willing to carry this shield even if it's weak, because I'm hoping to have this ability."
That's not the case in Diablo IV. There, players will be able to move legendary power around using an NPC known as the Occultist when an item with greater stats has been identified. The players will be able to transform rare items into legendary ones too.
"And in the spirit that you could hold on to your character and being the only person to fully customize your character's appearance through the use of legendary abilities, removing them from one thing , and infusing them into another and fundamentally altering the system of buy D2R Ladder Items building," Fergusson said.
